Profile: John Studzinski
John_s_guru_thumb
John Studzinski, CBE is the Global Head of the Corporate and Mergers and Acquisitions Advisory group, The Blackstone Group.

Before joining Blackstone in 2006, Mr. Studzinski was a member of the Group Management Board and co-head of investment banking at HSBC based in London from 2003 to 2006.  Prior to that, amongst other roles, he was the Deputy Chairman of Morgan Stanley International.

He is well known for his contributions to society. Mr. Studzinski was made Knight of the Order of St. Gregory for his humanitarian work for the homeless.  In 2008, he was named in the Queen's New Year Honours List as Commander of the British Empire ("CBE") for his services to the Arts and to Charity.
